building techniques

Whether it regards a luxurious villa or a modest home, you can always choose between several building techniques, all with their specific characteristics. The right method which fits your style and budget!

Building with high-speed concrete blocks

Concrete blocks are known for retaining their shape, their pure structure and ‘last but not least’ for their strength. The concrete blocks are used in foundations and for erecting walls. So basically, concrete blocks are used whenever strength and durability are required.

This method is cheaper than using ferroconcrete and can definitely be used whenever concrete is not an absolute requirement.

In addition this method has the advantage of:

  • being easy to process
  • retaining its shape and being strong
  • being thermally inert: due to their thermal inertness, concrete blocks are able to store heath and to release it slowly afterwards. Concrete blocks create a buffer against the heath and the cold.
  • insulating acoustically: the mass of the concrete block absorbs a large amount of noise (internally and externally).
  • resisting fire relatively well.

We co-operate with several local contractors who have convinced us based on their excellent results and by honouring their engagements. They combine craftsmanship with the kind-hearted atmosphere of the region and are used to working for an international and demanding clientele.

Prefabricated building

Over the past decades building techniques have evolved to such an extent, that nowadays it is perfectly possible to prefabricate large parts of the house in a factory, where the fabrication occurs under dry, conditioned circumstances and where the weather has little or no influence on the realisation and quality of the prefabricated house. This working method has several advantages:
  • Faster building technique than with traditional houses. We can put the different parts in place in only a few days. You can arrange the weather- and windproof house according to your own taste.
  • You build according to you own wishes: the measurements, the lay-out, the positioning of window-frames, doors, sockets, lighting, etc, it is entirely up to you.
  • Choosing for a prefabricated house results is an affordable house which you can arrange freely and which meets all your residence requirements.
  • Through this clever concept you can set up a solid construction which meets the latest European standards regarding insulation and obviously bears the A-energy label.
  • The finished house cannot be distinguished from a traditionally-built house.

We have opted for a concept developed in Belgium which allows you to choose from several predesigned house plans.
We can also help you design your personal dream house or use your own designs, completely ‘à la carte’. Every design is possible. A full price calculation is ready within 14 days.

We surrender the house, weather- and windproof. You can finish it yourself or ask us to do it for you. This method results in a beautiful, solid house which meets all standards required and once again for a very reasonable price.

Also an ideal construction method for a holiday home.
